They believe that great wine “starts in the vineyard”. Since 2003, this family-owned winery has grown significantly, yet it retains its original philosophy and vision. Salvador and Claudia Galvan are the owners of Galvan Family Vineyards, with Salvador being the winemaker. Visitors are welcome for tastings at the Mangels Family Vineyards on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. From its Tempranillo that goes well roasted vegetables to its Angelina that pairs well with pasta, this winery is dedicated to offering flavorful, memorable wines.

With a mission to make premium wines from varietals that are grown in the Suisun Valley, Mangels Family Vineyards is focused on producing small lots of great wine. Enjoy tastings of Blacksmith Cellars wines at the Suisun Valley Wine Cooperative tasting room on Thursdays through Sundays. Its rose and chardonnays are also popular. It is also noted for an award-winning Chenin Blanc. He started in 2003 by releasing his 2001 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, and this winery is still known for its stellar Cabernet Sauvignon.
